Interview Today for PCT!

Nursing Students Technicians

OK so this was my first interview today at a hospital, a children's hospital to be exact. Well I got a call a couple of days ago to schedule an interview, so that gave me enough to do my research and "homework" . I don't have to much experience but I believe enough to get the the tasks done. I was so nervous in the interview and felt like I kinda babbled a little. She asked me the typical questions, "why this hospital", "whats your weakness", things like that. I felt I answered then great with with sincerity but maybe a little too much talking. So at the end I asked my questions and also I stated that the position is something I'd love to do and I think I'll a great fit, I asked how she felt about me for the Position and she said I'd make a great fit and she could see my passion. Then she told me I would hear back from my recruiter and they are looking to fill there Position in a week? So After I sent a thank you letter in the mail and now I'm totally starting to wondering Wether the interview went good or eh okay-ish . Any advice on what I should do next? Is there something I can still do to improve my chances of getting the position?

I think it was very smart thinking on your part to send a thank you letter for interview. I got my first job in a medical office 15 years ago by sending a thank you note after the interview. My boss that hired me told me that's why she choose me from the other applicants. Good luck on getting the job.

Thank you cdsavannah59, I'm planning on calling at the end of the week for an update. So I'll post if I get the job : )

So I called yesterday, and was told they are still doing interviews and I could call back friday, so hopefully something soon! :)
