Brazilian health authorities Wednesday reported 58 new cases of A/H1N1 flu in the country, bringing the death toll to 274.

So far, Sao Paulo has the highest death toll, with 111 victims, followed by Parana with 58 and Rio Grande do Sul with 55.

With the new figures, Brazil has the third highest death toll in the world, only behind the United States and Argentina.
