I am a pacu nurse!!!!

Hey there!

this is my first time to write something in here.

I was born and raised in south korea.

i'm a pacu nurse in day surgery center for 8years.

recently

my supervisor asked me to participate in the dental operation room as circulating nurse for 2 hourses.

is it possible in your hospital?

i was very upset because i have no experiance in OR

so i answered " no, i can't"

but she said the operation was simple, so i had nothing to work.

how can i do like this situation?

I think you should have someone WITH you at the very least. I did general surgery circulating, but would have been lost in the cysto or tonsil rooms.

If they want you to do something like that again tell them not unless you are trained.
