Curious if any of the alternates have heard anything yet?

I haven't heard anything yet. (I am alternate #2) I am a bit suprised. I had thought that I would have had a good chance at being called by now.

I was in the office yesterday turning my paperwork in (TB, immunizations, CPR card, etc) and noticed that I was one of two people that had turned their stuff in. Our TB had to be read after July 1st so now they should get a bunch of papers turned in so hopefully they will let you know very soon.

Keeping my fingers crossed....

Alternate #2 here... I still haven't received THE phone call.

Yippee!!! I finally got "the call". For what it's worth, the person I spoke with today at the nursing program office mentioned that she would be sending "letters" out tomorrow. So there must have been multiple spots that became available. (Probably because Monday the 28th was the deadline for accepted students to turn in their proof of vaccination, current CPR cert., etc.)

I was only alternate #2, but I am curious how many alteranted got offered spots.

Yeah, I'm excited to finally find someone who will be in the class with me. Now the long wait until the syllabus comes out and orientation.

FYI, just talked with the office and we are not going to be able to register until probably 2nd or 3rd week of August. She did tell me that they are down to alternate #5 so far.....

Just wanted to let you all know that I am alternate #6 and was called yesterday and offered a spot in the program. I thought it would be a sigh of relief but I think my stress level has shot up worried about being prepared and ready for what's to come!! I am very excited though. I have slowly been taking prereques, working and taking care of family for last 3 years waiting for this to happen and I have finally made it.

The lady I spoke with made no mention of how many more alternates might be offered a spot so I'm sorry but dont have any info to pass on. Good luck to everyone!
