Howdy!

I am a 1st year student in the PCC Nursing Program.

This site was very helpful to me when I was planning on going to nursing school. I remember how many questions I had before starting the program. I thought I would come back and do my best to answer any questions you may have.

I'll get it started...

Q: How is the program?

A: Very time conuming, often difficult, positively stressful, definitely worth it.

So I just had a meeting with an advisor and he touched on this subject. The 2 bonus points for having completed Microbiology are going away and it is becoming a core prerequisite. He would or could not say how those 2 points would be redistributed, as in they could be added into the already large pool of experience points, into the volunteer section or what have you. Hope that answers your question.

Did anyone take the Nursing Boot Camp class at PCC? If so, did it help you alot?
