Looking for new Shoes...

I am looking to get new shoes..does anyone have suggestions for me?

I'm looking for leather, something with great support that comes in colors other than white, is lightweight, not hard to care for and is reasonably priced. I've had Birki clogs(I felt like I was wearing clown shoes and my toes would bunch to keep them from falling off). Now I have Merell shoes but the support has worn off and I don't want to pay that much again for shoes I'll change after 6-12 mos. I'm open to almost any style of shoe.

I love my crocs. 30$ good support and the grips inside the shoe makes it so you dont have to use your toes to grab a hold. They also have a strap and they dont SLIP on fluids.....

Many of the nurses I work with including myself have started wearing Crocs. They are not leather in fact I have no idea what they are made of-they are like clogs but with a heel strap. Extremely light, many colors, side vent holes, wide width. I found mine a vickerey.com for $50.

Crocs are the best. They sell them at the mall for $39.99. I also found them online for the same price, just doing a Yahoo search.

Crocs are popular with RN's in our hospital (especially OR/PACU).They are quite comfortable. The material is kind of like that of an eggcrate but thicker and softer.

I am a male Orthopaedic rep who logs lots of OR time and before that I was a Pathology Asst who ran a histology lab and did autopsies all day. Lotsa foot time. I tried everything: Birks(no cushion, great support), Running shoes(great cushion and support, just wore out fast) and eccos(great shoe , hold up well with support and cushion, not sure if they make girl types though). I bought my first pair of Dansko sports a year ago and will never look further. The sprt model has great cushion and support. I can put in 8 to 12 hours without pause. It took me a little while to get used to them but man are they great. You might need to go online to find them.

Specializes in ICU, ER, HH, NICU, now FNP.

Crocs are 29.95 at http://www.rei.com

They are made of foam basically. I like mine for slogging around in the mud and grass, but I can't imagine wearing them for 12 hours. Not enough arch support for me, but they might be fine for someone without high arches

I love my J. Rubio clogs with their funky spring in the heel. They are really comfortable and much cheaper than z coils. Used to get from Europe now they can be ordered from USA at: http://www.jrubio.us

Really awesome shoes!
