Nursing Students School Programs

Published

So I recently moved into Taylor, and I would like to start on a nursing program like asap. Just the thing is I don't know what school to go to, I had my transcripts already sent to Wayne County Community College, Henry Ford Community College, Schoolcraft College, Macomb Community College, Davenport University or Eastern Michigan. I have already taken all of my pre-reqs in 2005-2006. So I know for some of the schools I got to retake anatomy and physiology and microbiology. So what I'm looking for is someone to help me make my decision. By answering the following questions for me.

1.) What's the wait list like? (how long is it, how many students are accepted every time?)

2.) How often do they (the school) accept new nursing students?

3.) Do they (the school) require an entrance exam? If so what test (the Teas or the HESI?)

4.) How long is their program?

5.) When do they (the school) accept new students? (Every Fall, Every Winter, Or Every Fall & Winter

5.) When do they (the school) accept new students? (Every Fall, Every Winter, Or Every Fall & Winter?)

6.) Assume I want to get my bachelor's degree in Nursing, what school would transfer better?

Hello, not sure, if I will be able to answer all of your questions. 1. They say no Wait list. Usually based on a points system. Test score, essays, letters of recommendation, GPA and work experience. 2. Spring and Fall terms varies 60 to 120 students per term. 3. entrance exam yes HESI at wcccd and hfcc 4. Four semesters summer off. 5. Accept students twice a year. 6. You have to check the school. Hope that helps.
