SBU NURSING APPLICANTS FOR FALL 2017

Hey guys! I've decided to start this thread for all applicants. I know it's a bit early but I'm hoping we can all help each other! Last year I applied for the Basic BSN program and was chosen for an interview. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the program. I was accepted to SBU and decided to attend this year and take some classes. I've already received my associate degree in Liberal Arts from NCC. Where is everyone transferring from?

If you have any questions regarding your application, you should Email them at [email protected]. I've called them in the past and I've never received a return call. However, they responded to my Emails promptly, usually within 1-2 business days.

Important Update for Nursing Applicants I stumbled upon this on Stony Brook's website, so don't refer to SOLAR for status of supporting documents. Any transcripts that were uploaded will be received, the status of LOR's should be checked on the application itself, and anyone who requested a fee waiver will receive an email. So happy I found this, I was freaking out a little bit over here!!!

The fact that it says, "Due to the volume of applications received", makes me cringe.. Yikes.. I know they get tons of them, but almost sounds like it may be more than usual... Blah

I got two emails inviting me to schedule an interview slot. They were both sent to my stony brook email. It should be whichever email you used with your application.

Do you mind sharing your gpa? I didn't get an email yet, but I'm just wondering what people with interviews' grades/extra curriculars looked like! BUT congrats on getting an interview!! I'm happy for you!
