San Joaquin Delta College Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone! I am just starting this to see who has applied or is thinking of applying for the program. I know that the application period ends on the 29th but wanted to see whos applying and with how many points are you applying with. Good luck to everyone and can't wait till the 3rd of april when they let us all know.

Hi all,

I submitted my TEAS score electronically back in September 2017 for the Spring 2018 application but was disqualified because I was missing some other documents. I was invited to submit my documents for Fall 2018 application and was wondering if I would need to submit another TEAS score electronically? Or does submitting my ATI TEAS score automatically stays in their school system? Thank you.

Why risk it, Just do it again.

On the nursing application I remember there was a question about whether or not we took nutrition, pharmacology, or medical terminology we would receive 1 extra point but when I'm looking over my application I don't see that question there

I emailed Health Sciences Dept. because I too had a checked box for Life Experiences. I saw the option when I reviewed my application and nothing was checked, so I checked "Need to work" but then in packet it listed it as needing documentation. I asked and they said no need to submit anything because everyone gets the points. I have it in writing :)

Ok... after seeing this I was paranoid, because you are right, I didn't see them ask for proof of that. But I went back and looked at the criteria PDF on their site, and it says "The same documentation listed in Criterion 2A will be required for Criterion 7." So maybe they are just going to verify the 2 sections with your transcripts since you wont need to supply them again if you already provided them in 2A. But to be safe, I plan to email again and ask...lol

Okay thank you so much! :)

Can anyone please tell what address did you put while requesting your ATI TEAS transcript? Do you send them to Admissions or records or to the health and science center?

Just select "Delta College ADN program" on the drop-down menu, and they'll send it directly. I dropped the rest of my docs off today in the A&R office, with the info desk person.

so if we did our prereqs at delta we DO NOT have to submit transcripts or course descriptions? But we only have to submit transcripts and course descriptions for the classes we took outside of delta?
