Samuel Merritt ELMSN-FNP Spring cohort 2016

Hello! There is another post for this cohort, but it's titled for CM rather than FNP. I think the process should be pretty similar for both tracks. But I applied for the FNP track and am still waiting to hear about interviews. They said the invitations should start going out towards the end of the month but it's already the 25th and they will be closed for the weekend. I'm considering calling to ask about the progress but don't want to be a bother.

I have an interview tomorrow for the FNP/ELMSN spring 2016 Sacramento cohort. My interview is in Oakland. Anyone else have an interview for the program? I was notified by phone, not by email.

I haven't heard anything back, unfortunately. I applied for the FNP track as well. When did you get your call?

I was also notified by phone. I actually haven't received any emails from SMU.. besides the confirmation that my application was sent. Did you get any email mp916?

Hi surrah and mp916, I hope your interviews went wonderfully yesterday. I'm going in for my FNP interview on the 7th, it's going to be quite a drive! I was wondering if either of you could talk about what to expect as far as length of interview, number of interviewees in the room, types of questions to look forward to, etc. Thanks!

I will be interviewing on the 12th! The person who called me said it will be about 12 people and that the slot is for three hours, although it could potentially end early.

That is about right. For anyone else interviewing this week, expect to be there for about 2.5-3 hours. The two faculty members that interviewed my group were very friendly, informative, and inspiring. It was a great experience and made me want to go to SMU even more!

Hello, hope everyone's interviews went well! I interviewed a little over a week ago and we were told results would be sent around this time. For those of you who recently interviewed yesterday, when is the expected date for results? Have they changed?
