I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there who was accepted to the Fall 2014 class for Rowan College (formerly GCC). I'm looking to network, and meet a few people before school starts.

HI! Glad to hear from someone. I have only bought my blood pressure cuff! I'll probably buy my books in the next few weeks. I see they have added another book onto the required books list, Davis' Drug Guide for Nurses. To be honest I'll probably buy my lab kit through the school and use my book voucher to pay for it. I'm debating on whether or not to do it for my other books. I'm a stay at home mom, and getting up the money for all these books, uniforms, etc on top of paying for my daughters birthday party in August and a vacation is costly. Anyway, which days are you taking your classes? I have Nursing 1 on Mondays at 1, my clinical on Fridays at, and my Lab on Wednesdays at 745.

I purchased most of my books from valorebooks.com and chegg.com because the prices were much cheaper. But if you have book vouchers they could be a great help! I still need to purchase the lab kit and the Fundamentals of Nursing Package from the bookstore. I have NUR 131 Monday 7:45, clinical Tuesday, and lab on Wednesday 11:15. Also, where did you purchase your BP cuff from? I ordered one online, but I'm not happy with the quality so I'm returning it.
