Nursing Options with a 2.65 GPA

I'm graduating from a university with a bachelors. I'm interested in an accelerated BSN or direct entry masters. I have 2.65 gpa when I combine community college and university grades. Are there any available options for a person interested in nursing with really poor grades? I have a 3.25 GPA in anatomy, physiology, micro, and basic sciences.

All of the MSN programs I have seen require a minimum of 3.0 to apply, and I would just about bet a 3.0 will not get you in.

I'm not sure about other BSN programs, but I was not accepted into a BSN program with a 3.6 GPA. Honestly a 2.65 would be hard to do.

I got into BSN school with your GPA...same science GPA...Entrance yes was over 90 percent. I was also a LPN when I started...

The bottom line is, you are going to have to look into what schools are looking for, in order to know what their requirements are. Most colleges have guidelines either looking at numbers or he "whole package". Go to information sessions, talk to the instructors and personnel who are going to help make the decision. Ask questions...interview the schools you are interested in. I did this, succeeded, and have been a RN close to a year. Do the research, and find out. Good Luck!
