Jeff State Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys! Thought I would go ahead and make one for Spring 2018! Comment if your applying and what campus! Does anyone know if the requirements will change like going back to the Teas or keeping the ACT test?

I applied with 32 points..Not feeling too confidant about getting in. I didnt score very high on the act and i dont have math completed so thats the reason for the points. Anyone else apply with low 30's?

HELLO EVERYONE, I tried to stay away but I couldnt resist since its getting closer to us finding out. Praying for our sanity and that everyone gets in !!

I applied with 33 points as well. I'm missing A&P and microbiology.

Do you all know of any current Jeff State students? Wondering how low of points they will accept / have accepted in the past.

I think they start looking at the high 30's and beyond.

They introduced a new point system that they first used for the fall applicants so the number of points needed is still unknown since the new point system has only been used for one cycle. I know people that got into the fall semester with 37/38 points. Spring and summer semesters have less applicants and people that had 38 or above already got accepted into the fall making the chances greater for people who applied to spring or summer with less than 37/38 points. This means that the cut off is unknown for the spring and could potentially be in the low 30's.

I applied with 32 points also.. super nervous

Not having the 7 points due to previously being in a program really hurt me :(

Praying that we all get in, fingers crossed! It's been so stressful waiting to find out if we got in or not but it'll be worth it in the end. And remember.. If you don't get accepted this time around don't be discouraged :) you can always make improvements and apply again. :)

For Fall 2018? How did they already get accepted

I feel pretty confident that everyone on this thread will get accepted. The good thing about jeff state is that they offer the program in fall, spring, or summer. To those who don't get accepted (I didn't for fall), I recommend retaking the act as many times as possible (2 times in between each application cycle if timed correctly) & instead of taking semesters off until you get accepted, start taking classes that are required for your BSN (if you plan on continuing you nursing education). The key is to keep applying...apparently they keep a record of it. My sister graduates from the program in may and I'm so jealous!

How many points did you apply with in the fall?
