Anyone else applying to Georgetown's Accelerated BSN Program, beginning Spring '12? :)

I've given up hope that we'll hear tonight, but it doesn't seem likely that we'll hear on a Saturday either. Do you think we will have to wait until Monday? That sounds like torture. I'm really hoping we'll hear about WHC on the same day! I'm so ready to figure out what the next few years will look like!

Are any of you old enough (ok this dates me) when the acceptances came in a fat envelope in the mail and the rejections came in a skinny envelope. Back in the day we would stalk the postal carrier - not our email servers - LOL. I know this waiting is stressing us all out - I have been up since 5:30am this morning (my partner left for work then) and so I have had lots of time this morning to stress already. On the positive side I have cleaned up the house, done 4 loads of laundry and am reading my chem chapter for next week. Hoping to hear something on the earlier side today :o Good luck to everyone!

Hi everybody!

I thought I would have an email waiting for me when I woke up this morning at 10, but no rejection or acceptance email was in my inbox! I believe we have to wait until Monday....

I am beginning to resent emails being sent from other sources because I get initially excited to see something new there ... and then it's from Groupon. Bah! I definitely remember the Fat Package/Skinny Letter indicator, hascher, no worries. I'm actually going to miss that, if I get in. It was so reassuring to have lots of things to look at and read when you were excited about getting into school. I have to say, though, it's been immensely comforting to hear that I am not alone in my angst. Thank you all for that. I'm going to go try very hard to chill out -- hope you are able to also.

Yeah this is basically torture. I've been checking my email every few minutes! I'm really hoping that we'll hear by monday. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!

It's nice to know that we are all very similar in our A-type behavior - lol. We are all totally stressed about this - but it is good that we have this forum because if not we would likely drive the others in our lives crazy (if we don't already). We can ride this out together - think of it as pre-cohort bonding! I have to see the positive in this and try to enjoy my sunday which will be full of microbiology and football and then dinner with friends! To keep our minds off of this - what will you be doing today?

It is nice to see that I'm not the only one going stir crazy waiting for news. As for not stressing today, I'm accomplishing that with a pitcher or beer while watching some football. I'm thinking that once we all get good news (fingers crossed) Sundays will involve much more studying and far less beer! Might as well enjoy it now.

Is anyone else really worried that you'll be I'm the grocery store or some other public place when the email comes and you'll either embarrass yourself (if accepted) or have to deal with rejection in a horrible place?
