Hey guys!

I am a junior at UNCG and I'm applying for a spot in Duke University's PNA Program for the summer of 2017. I want to work in the ICU so badly. I was wondering if anyone else is applying for this program and/or knows what makes you competitive? Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi! I am also applying for the Summer 2017 PNA position! I am starting my senior year this semester for the BSN nursing program at Tennessee Tech. I have been a CNA/SNA (Student Nurse Associate) on a general pulmonary medsurg unit for a year, plus previous experience in a nursing home prior. I am so curious as to how many get accepted and what kinds of things they look for in resumes. My GPA is lower than I want (3.33), but my experience is pretty awesome so far! Lot's of job shadowing in L&D, too (which is the unit I applied for for the program)!

I am in the BSN program at UNC-CH, and I also applied. I know a good portion of our cohort applied to the program. A girl who was in the program last year said they mainly look at your references and answers to the Qualtrics survey questions, but of course they look at the other stuff as well. I also heard her say they accept a good amount of people, so hopefully we will all be accepted somewhere! When I emailed the recruiter last month, he said he hoped to have the decisions out mid to late March, so hopefully we will hear soon!

I just heard back! I have been placed in the Intensive Care Nursery Unit.

I was offered a position in the Intensive Care Nursery! Does anyone have a place I can stay at? Or know of anyone that goes to Duke that I can sublease from?
