A Good Book About Cancer?

Hi everyone!

I want to be an RN in oncology one day and I want to get some books on the subject. I came across this book on Amazon: Cancer Source Book for Nurses.

I truly enjoy learning about various diseases, ailments and really just the overall medical field in general. I just got through reading several anatomy and physiology books and even taught myself medical terminology because it interested me greatly. I am currently enrolled in a CNA program and I am also volunteering at my local hospital in the oncology unit.

I am looking for a book that educates a person about the various kinds of cancer, the staging process, treatments, etc. This book seems to have all of that but since it was published in 2004 I wasn't sure if it was up to date being that the medical field advances so much or if something better was out there.

Oh and this is just for my own personal knowledge and learning experience. I would NEVER attempt to give advice or opinions to anyone who is suffering from this horrible disease.
