OSU-OKC Nursing Spring '17

I just wanted to know if anyone was going to apply to Osu Okc for spring 17 I'm going to apply this semester for the first time ive been trying for the last couple of years but my Teas score wasnt where i needed it to be but this is my year ive been studying my butt off and I'm going to take it again next month

Has anyone else got their letters that have been waiting for the 2nd round to be mailed out? Also, when you guys received your letters did you guys take it like you cannot enroll until you have your vaccines, cpr, drug test, and background check done or is that just everything you need by the first day and you can go ahead and enroll? The reason I'm asking that is because it says the background check has to be done on the clinical hub and they say not to do that until after Jan 1st, so we would be delaying our enrollment anyway. Just wanted your thoughts on what you guys are going to do or how you took what the letter meant. :)

We should be getting them today because they sent them out Thursday. I got rejected í ½í¸• They look at cumulative gpa and that was only 3.1 for me leaving me with just 72 points í ½í¸­

"it says that failure to provide required documentation to the nursing office in a timely manner will delay the students enrollment and result in student being prohibited from clinical experiences"

but it also says the following documents on the paper must be submitted by the first day of orientation. So as long as you have it turned in by orientation you should be fine, i'm pretty sure they auto-enroll us anyways.

Also, how are you guys going to order your books? i looked at several prices and the "packages" seen to be the cheapest. However i dont know if they come with all the access codes. I was going to get print and online access which is $471. Also does anyone know the website for the background check, it says it would be on the attached document but it doesnt say. I'm trying to get everything out of the way as soon as possible.

The information for the clinical hub background check was sent in an email to whichever email address you wrote down.

I'm not sure yet on if I'm going to get the package or order all my books off Amazon prime. Amazon seems to be cheaper and no tax which helps, but I'm still going to do some checking and see. Also, I never received a email at all about the clinical hub background info. When did you guys get the email and was it from osu/okc? I wasn't sure if I didn't get it or over looked it. Thanks in advance. í ½í¸€

I received it on November 3rd and it was from Swinney, health science division at OSU-OKC. I would call if you didnt receive it. It was send to the email you used on your application

Hello everyone, my name is Lucy and I got accepted to the 2017 nursing program. Congratulations to everyone else who did. Has anyone known the price of the books as a bundle from Osu. I have been looking up the prices on amazon but couldn't find the bundle price in the osu book store website.

Hi Lucy, Congratulations on getting in the program. I went and got all my books at the bookstore and got the bundle. The bundle was $471.00, docucare was $158.00 for 1-year access, and Laboratory & Diagonstic book was $83.00 which totaled my $771.00. I haven't got the recommended books yet, so not sure on those prices. í ½í¸
