I thought I would start a thread for Diversity. Anyone else taking this in the last session of the fall. Please tell me I'm not alone!!!!

Ok! Seriously? I lost 6 points for not having the genogram or references in my "genogram" assignment! Firstly that was the whole purpose of the assignment, why would I not put it? Secondly, REFERENCES?????? The genogram is about us and our family why would we need to use references, but in good sporting measure I did find 2 articles and used 2 sentences from them and cited appropriately. SO why did I loose points for 2 aspects of the paper that are in fact there???? Im so glad that this is my last semester at this school. They hire some of the most idiotic, unrealistic TA's. I emailed her about the grade and she still has yet to give me a straight answer? Time to email the Prof.

The rubic does not mentioned the need for references.

In my section the need for references were posted in the assignments. I wouldn't have done them either if I didn't read that. Sorry you got a bad grade

That is one thing I find very frustrating about this program. The TA's don't get back to you within a reasonable time and TA's interreptation of the assignment. I did not see "references needed" for the one assignment and I got points taken off for it!! So frustrating!!

I didn't think mine were either, it came out last week in he announcements. Check there and you may find it.

For week 2 my TA wrote a big thing about how minimal points had been taken off so far for turning assignments in that were not in APA format. She went on to describe APA format ...title page, running head etc..then said everything must be turned in this way. I'm getting ready to submit wk2 3-4 para assignment. Do you think they really want a title, intro, running header etc.. For these little things? Are you all doing that? It seems like overkill!

I have been doing all of that. I want to keep a good grade so I'm not taking any chances

Ugh, I guess I will do it. I have been doing citations and refrences.I just think all the other stuff should be for an essay or paper not for a couple of paragraphs!

Directions I received stated: You do not need a title page, running header etc. on discussion boards or assignments that are on worksheets. You will on Word documents.

i really have to vent because I'm annoyed. I keep getting points taken off of my discussion board posts because they are not long enough! They are long enough when I do them in word but when I cut and paste them the font changes and she keeps giving me points off. Im beyond ******
