Thinking of OU Chillicothe

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

I am thinking about applying to the OU-C ADN program. Any thoughts on the program? This would be a contingency if I am unable to get into CSCC next fall.

What are the things you liked about this program and what did you dislike?

Is there anyone currently enrolled in this program at OU-C, or have completed the ADN Program? What do/did you think of it?

I just graduated 2 weeks ago from the OUC program. I am and LPN and taking my NCLEX RN tomorrow. I was fortunate to not have to take the first few quarters as i was going in as an LPN and also tested out of the Maternity and ped's class. I heard form many that the mat/peds class was a waste of time. I enjoyed the school up to the last semester when we took the transitions class. This class tought me nothing and i felt was a waste of my time. It was incredibly disorganized and tought me nothing about transitions into nursing. All said and done i'm grateful for OUS and getting my RN hopefully tomorrow

I wish you the very best of luck tomorrow. Please let us know how it goes for you.

Thank you for taking the time to answer this post. I do have some more questions for you but I will send you a private message in a few days.
