LPN Florida to Ohio

I have a few questions for anyone that can help!

I'm an LPN moving from Florida to Cleveland soon. I contacted a temp agency in Cleveland who told me I have to retake a med course and IV certification course in order to pass meds. I cannot talk to anybody in the Board's office, I keep getting transferred to voicemail :banghead: I have those qualifications in Florida, so I'm just wondering if anybody on here knows anything about it.

Also, what is the average pay anyone knows about for an LPN with about 2 years' experience? :nuke: Thanks!

Have you applied for endorsement of your license yet? That will give you the information that you need about the courses that you would need to take if they are required for you.

Start with that and go from there. Everything will be on the website for Ohio as far as what you will need to do.

I applied this week. I'm still continuing to call the Ohio BON and leaving my number all over my voicemail messages, hopefully at least one person will call me back! :bugeyes:

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place on the website, but I haven't been able to find whether the specific courses I took in FL will transfer to OH. Until I can talk to someone on the Board, I just thought I'd check here in case anyone knew. Thanks for the support!

I live in cincinnati and I make about 45 a year. I have a year and half exp. but I also work PRN and they make more. Good luck!!

Oh also, I ve found I get my answers faster by emailing the Ohio board of nursing, just a FYI
