Hondros

I started a thread earlier about Hondros and how I have been accepted for fall and a couple people have replied but for some reason this site will not let me post a reply back! Ugh!

Ok so yes the school is accredited and no they did not change their name. Fortis use to be Bohecker and they are right across the street from Hondros. They are expensive but they are perfect for my schedule and life. I am a single mom and I can afford to go take two years of pre-reqs @ cscc or cotc. I want something all included. Also, they have started a bachelors in nursing which beings next summer, I think. Ill keep researching the school but so far everything seems to check out.

I would really like feedback from people who've gone to Hondros or students currently enrolled. Thanks!

Hondros really prepares you for HESI and NCLEX. I did my LPN and I am currently going into 3rd term RN. The RN program is difficult and stressful but doable if you work really hard and apply yourself. It is very time consuming and I have 0 life except for on breaks. Hondros has pros and cons as every school does. You have to be your own advocate and stay on top of every aspect. If you have any specific questions I will check back and be happy to answer.

Hi all,

I am currently a 5th term RN student and the Student Ambassador. "justsayin" I am sorry you have had such a horrible experience, as mine has been completely opposite. I have never had a class where faculty has changed as much as you have stated. As talking with many peers at other schools most of the concerns you have stated are something that they go through as well.

For thos who are questioning attending, it really is a great program overall and I am pleased to go to Hondros. There are schools that are cheaper, but it depends on what is important to you time or money.

Also, as far as "justsayin" stating that long response times or that the they are struggling with shifting from customer to student focus, that is one of the reasons they have given me the responsibility of bridging the gap between students and administration because they are really focused on student life and experience at Hondros.

I am overall proud to be a student at this college and in the position to help current/future students have a great experience here as well.

Also, all of you are free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any further questions/concerns.

Thanks,

Dan

Hey all! I attend Hondros in Fairborn for my RN. I love this school! I did fail my Intro to Alegebra class and am retaking it this quarter. I am doing a lot better. My teacher is awesome. I wish I had gone here for my LPN. I am not naming the school I attended, all I can say is that they are a joke! Congrats to you Dan on your position! I have seen it on FB. Anyone who is thinking of going here should! my co-worker's sister just started this month in the PN program.
