Can anyone give some advice on where I should gather the information I will need to get started? I haven't got a clue.

- Dec 13, '05 by AggiewI would check with similar companies to see what the requirements are with this type of company. You will need to have private malpractice insurance if you work as a nurse for him and I am sure there are legal hurdles to jump. Good luck!

You can then get in touch with other OHN in your area as laws vary from state to state. I have been a member of The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses and my local chapter the Western Michigan Association of occupational Health Nurses. I hope this helps
