Period Problems

I'm sorry if this seems gruesome but I'm worried right now...

In June I had a tubal surgery. My first period was odd (as I was warned) and the two after were fine but the fourth period (and each period since) my periods have started with a gush and immense pain. It literally feels like I'm going into labor (I have a 2yr old so I know how it feels). The amount of blood is frightening, it literally dumps blood down my legs to the point if I'm standing still I wind up standing in a pool of my own blood and clots the size of the palm of my hand. I've tried going to the hospital but I'm brushed to the size and told "next month your period should return to normal." Mind you, this is number 4, each of which are getting progressively worse. What can cause this and what do I do? They're telling me to take ibuprofen and aleve, but its not even touching the pain. When I've gone to the hospital they've even tried morphine and it does nothing for the pain. I'm out of options and terrified.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but this is not the place to ask this question. Per TOS, no one here can give you medical advice. And since you cannot verify the legitimacy of what anyones stated title, it would not be smart to take anything given anyway. The best place to get answers is with your physician. If you are not satisfied with the original response at the hospital, you should seek a second opinion at another facility. Best of luck
