Hi everyone!

Just wanted to ask if anyone knows and would recommend a good magazine for Labor and Delivery nurses to subscribe?

Thanks a lot

Specializes in OB, lactation.

I'm still a student but I'd think that Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing would be a starter (abbreviated JOGNN; it's the journal of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses [AWHONN]) :

I'm still a student, too, but I really like MCN (Maternal Child Nursing).

MCN is good. Once you join AWHONN, you automatically have a subscription to JOGNN and Nursing for Women's Health (used to be AWHONN Lifelines). They are both really informative - I've got stacks of them sitting around "just in case" and they have indeed come in handy later on.

Specializes in Midwifery.

You could also try some midwifery journals. Birth, MIDIRS midwifery digest, Midwifery, The Practicing Midwife....all have stuff in them relevant to all who work in maternity areas.
