......you were given the opportunity as a nurse..for only one day....to say whatever you wanted to a patient or a doctor....or anyone for that matter,during the course of your shift, with no penalty whatsoever? I think, personally, that would be the most fabulous nurses day gift.

To all the women in the world who think that babies can survive @ any age gestation: Pregnancy is suppose to last for 40 wks, not the 28,32,34,36 wks that you think, so dont ask or think up reasons why your baby needs to be delivered when you get tired of being pregnant!

Yes!! You DO need to drink more water than just one glass a day- especially when its hot out!

Stop wearing stupid high heel shoes when you're pregnant - why do you think you fell 3 times today???

I have always wanted to tell pt's who crawl up the head of the bed during an sve-" how in the world did you get pregnant?? I would think my two fingers are alot smaller than the thing that got you pregnant!!"

and.. ditto to what was said about having 6 pt's to day shift and us only having 2-3 nurses!!
