I will be taking Pharmacology next semester and I am dreading it. How do I prepare for that? What resources do you recommend?

Buy a used (typically $0.01 to less than $10) ATI RN Pharmacology for Nursing Edition 6. 0 at Amazon.com and use it to supplement what your school uses / recommends. If you have access to ATI, at least watch the introduction pieces to understand the terminology, first pass effect, etc. When you start learning it, try to learn by drug class and group drugs of the same class by a portion of the name whenever possible. I.e. almost all ACE Inhibitors end in "pril" ARB's end in "sartan" etc (some drugs you group part of the front of the name and part of the suffix).
