Seeking Interview with Infection Control Nurse!

I am working on a project for nursing school, which is writing a research paper on NPSG Goal (NPSG.07.03.01) and would like to interview a nurse involved in infection control (which is all nurses, but I figured I'd start here)

I'll be asking a few basic questions about current infection control protocols, changes happening in this area, differences between practice and theory, and your personal observation and experiences in your work (or whatever subjects you are comfortable talking about)

My goal is to have completed the conversation before Friday 11/25

I am fine with private messaging on allnurses, a phone call, skype call, or email. Let me know your preference!

Call the local hospital and talk to a real live person you know is in the field. Every hospital has an infection control nurse.

Before you talk to her/him, take the trouble to prepare and look up the CDC recommendations on this. You'll have a much better conversation if you know what they're talking about.

I'll bet there are infection control nurses where you are. You'll probably get extra points for finding someone in another system that you can compare to the responses your classmates get from someone here.

I highly doubt your teacher will accept or wanted an interview done this way. The whole purpose of an interview is to be done in person. I know things happen but there are nurses practically everywhere. The thing about the Internet is that we try to be as anonymous as possible. Also, you never know if you are 100% certain if you are talking to a real nurse. Just because someone states they are a nurse on their profile doesn't mean it's the truth.
