Questions to ask during lecture?

I'm in level 1 and I'm a bit shy. I know everyone is starting new and we are all in the same boat regarding learning the information, but I'm very introverted. I try my best when I go to clinicals to go a further step in helping the patients out and I know I do have a huge heart. I want to participate and ask questions in class like others do, but I always step back. I want to overcome that. We are having a lecture on surgical wounds- just on the basics and afterwards at physical assessment class, a lecture on the heart. What are some questions I can ask during class?

I would read through the material that will be on your next lecture and think of some questions on anything that doesn't seem clear to you or you need clarified. I wouldn't ask questions just to ask them.

Onlyj,

I have the opposite problem. I tend to ask whatever, and sometimes I don't ask in the best/most efficient way. I think ~Mi Vida Loca~'s advise helps me, too. I read and write down all the questions that come to mind. Then, I go through my list and answer any that I can answer on my own with supplemental material/the Internet, etc. Whatever questions are left on my list after that, I try to jot down the best way to ask 'em. Then I can ask w/o worrying about blurting out unnecessary stuff. :clown:
