Hi everyone,
I got my first assignment for clinical which i am having tommorow:uhoh3: I am very very scared. You guys want to give me some good tips about do and not to do?
also I have a patient summary to review today.
I got a patient who is 95 yrs old, with CVA,htn,peripheral vascular disease and colon resection. My instructor said concentrate mostly on CVA and hypertension. Could u please help me out with her nursing dignosis? Pleaseeeeeeeeeee

hello, I think its going to be hard to come up with Nursing Dx, till, you see your patient, but here is what I would think giving her condition(s).
If she has hemiparalysis, she is a
Risk for injury r/t paralysis
Risk for Falls
Risk for decreased cardiac output/tissue perfusion r/t (high b/p or cardiac arrythmias)
**risk for aspiration r/t impaired swallowing (if she has that problem)
Inadequate tissue perfusion r/t vascular dz AEB ( edema, weak or no CSM)
