Addressing selection criteria plz help

Sorry my first post is asking for help. I'm stuck with one selection criteria.

Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.

It essentially means you are able to engage (a.k.a. connect with) patients and external customers on a personal level. The person who is able to engage people on a personal level will be more likeable in the eyes of patients, which enhances the perception of the services being rendered by you. Are you getting it?

People don't care what you know until they know that you care. You've gotta engage the patients on a personal level so they'll perceive that you care.
