Scrub tops that allow room for hips.

So, I'm 5'7" and wear a size 18/20. I am so tired of having to buy a size or two higher in boxy scrub tops so that they don't bind in my hip area, only to flash the girls every time I bend over because the top is so huge in the chest and shoulders. I've tried everything on in my local stores and I'm so tired of ordering and returning from the internet. Can someone suggest a soft scrub top that will give me hip room, has at least two pockets, and comes in white?

Cherokee is closest, but what you want really doesn't exist.

I finally picked up a Simplicity scrub pattern and cut the top to a medium and the bottom to x-l.

Thanks for your reply, Suesquatch. I come across your posts a lot in other threads and I always enjoy what you have to say.

I went to a local uniform shop in my area and tried on lots of different brands again -- Cherokee, Landau, Peaches, Baby Phat, Dickies...

I ended up getting a set from Baby Phat. I thought that brand would be bottom on my list of scrubs that fit, but I liked them despite their name. I hope my school doesn't get mad that there's a big gold cat on my top, but I can actually raise my arms, not have binding in my hips, and then when I lower my arms, the top falls back down and covers my butt. Yay! I had to go up TWO sizes; that brand runs way small.

The Peaches top also didn't bind, but that could be because it was so darn short. The Dickies W collection will be my backup.
