Rocker shoes, in general: Here are two articles worth reading, if you are trying to sort out what to buy or not buy. I have no affiliation with any off these sites, dealers, or brands.

The Skechers XW work shoes and XF fitness series are a low profile and more stable rocker than most. Very well cushioned, too. They are closest to a regular shoe, in terms of stability. I bought Skechers XW and XF because they felt the most comfortable, stable and natural to me. I have women's size 5.5 feet, and too much rocker in that short of a length is insanely un-natural to walk in. But as they say, your mileage may vary.

If you find a Skechers shoe you like. Google it for shopping deals. Some sites are selling leather Shape-Ups for $40 to $60, when they are $85 to $105 in stores. Google the model number and also the model name. I found good online deals that way.

I have purchased the Sketchers shape ups from Finish line for $27.99 recently...ones that look like Mary Janes and another style as well. They are good for the 8 hr shifts..however, the 12 shifts I work ...my feet and legs still ache....

Update to my Shape-Ups XW experience: I loved the Shape-Ups at first. They stretched out some after being worn for two to four workdays, and now I see I should have bought my regular shoe size not 1/2 size bigger.

Mine are lacers, low rocker, Work XW.

I found they are still comfortable to walk in, but they poke me in the plantar fascia when I stand still. If I have to stand and watch something, my feet instantly hurt. Actually, my feet feel like they are on fire. The rockers stress one of my knees, too, so now it hurts after each day. I have gone to bed hurting so much that I can't fall asleep. So, the ShapeUps XW are going to Goodwill.

I went back to wearing the Reebok Evaluate training shoes again.
