fetoscope verses pinard horn verses stethoscope

Okay, I know how different they look but what I'm wondering is...is there a difference as far as hearing a fetal heart beat? I mean, will a stethoscope do what the fetoscope and pinard will do? If so, why are the other two used? To look cool or something?? :) I'm honestly curious!
