Jobs for foreign BSN, RN living in New York

Hello to anyone who's reading this!

You have probably come across a similar article on the thread. But those might not be recent. I am writing this to gather information from people who might be in the same situation as I am in or really, anyone who has an insight on this topic.

So, the title describes me. I am a foreign BSN graduate who has a foreign license. I have passed and payed for my CGFNS credentials and is now awaiting the verification so that I could take the NCLEX. The gruesome waiting game starts and it is now time to find a job. I've been submitting my resumes to hospitals, multiple job sites under listings for Patient Care Tech/Coordinator, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants but to no avail. I have been receiving responses stating that I do not qualify the minimum or preferred qualification for the job. I understand that some of those positions require licenses. But! Is it really this difficult to get a job given my present credentials?
