Is it okay to be tested for tb after you have been vaccinated with the bcg vaccine? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. New to the site!

My six year old daughter was adopted from Guatemala and received the BCG vaccination shortly after she was born. She recently tested positive to a skin test and to the Quantiferon Gold test. We are going to infectious disease doctor this week, and I suspect she will be put on antibiotics. What are the chances that the BCG caused a false positive on both of the tests? Could this have been transmitted to her as a fetus? Are there any questions that I should ask the doctor? All advice is greatly appreciated. I hate to subject a six year old to nine months of antibiotics if it is not necessary.
Thank you.
