Voice Your Opinion on the Impact of HIT on Interdisciplinary Communication

The HIMSS Nursing Informatics Taskforce is conducting a research study to better understand how health information technology affects communication between nurses and the other members of the interdisciplinary team in the acute care setting. This study has been approved by the IRB at Partners Health Care in Boston and is funded by HIMSS. While we are collecting demographic data, we are not asking for personal identifiable data. All data will be reported in aggregate numbers.

We want to reach as many bedside staff nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team as possible. To assist in this goal, we would appreciate it if you could also forward this email (with the survey link) to any of your contacts that fit this target group.

Please forward to your contacts especially in our low/no response states: AL, AZ, AR, *DE, DC, *HI, *ID, IA, KS, LA, ME, MN, MS,MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, ND, *OK, RI, SC, *SD, TN, UT, WV, WY

The survey takes 10-20 minutes to complete. To initiate the survey click on this link:
