IT Innovations: Transforming Today's Nursing Practice

The AMIA Nursing Informatics Working Group will host IT in Innovations:

Transforming Today's Nursing Practice on Saturday, October 22. This special

one-day symposium will bring together leading nurse informatics specialists

from all over the country to discuss relevant and pressing issues in nursing

practice. The day will revolve around presentations addressing Innovation in

nursing informatics, Implementation of information technology based

solutions, and Impact - using technology and strategies to evaluate its

successful use. Presenters for this symposium come from a variety of

settings and backgrounds in the practice of nursing informatics to provide

maximum learning for attendees.

Pricing - The symposium registration fees for this event mirror the fees for

AMIA full day tutorials. Registration fees include meeting materials, lunch,

and the networking reception and begin at $315.

Continuing Education - Continuing education credit will be available for

this event. Complete information will be available in the final program for

the AMIA Annual Symposium in July.
