Specialties Informatics

Hi all. Just thought that this would be a pretty good place to get a bit of advice. I'm an ADRN and I'm currently functioning (at the hospital that employs me) as a SuperUser for a number of different solutions/systems. I also have an Associates Degree in Information technology. I'm planning to go the Nursing Informatics route and was wondering if it would be more beneficial for me to get my BSN or should I go a different route and get a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems. Not sure which way to go with this. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Specializes in Informatics, Education, and Oncology.

Which degree you get depends on what your career goals are and what exactly you want to do in informatics. Search this forum.......... as the pros and cons of this questions have been asked and answered numerous times.

Good Luck!
