RH Heals for 2014

Hi! Good day! Does anyone know when is the start for the application for RN heals for 2014? And what hospitals accepts applicants? And any idea for the requirements? I've been trying to search the net for information about RN heals for 2014 but all I see are details for the batch 2013. I'm very much interested to join RN heals. I live in Metro Manila so I'd really be thankful if somebody can help me regarding this matter. Thanks in advance! :)

Hi, I am currently deployed as an RNHEALS trainee in one of the largest DOH Hospitals in the country. We were told that DOH is currently planning to absorb half of the 20000+ trainees that are currently deployed. From 8k monthly allowance, trainees who will be absorbed as contractual staff would receive 16K allowance but still no benefits. I was further told that this is the reason why DOH wouldn't be accepting applicants for hospital setting anymore but they might start accepting RNHEALS for community setting.

No. Instead she was told to wait for their post for the information regarding the schedule of application and the requirements needed.

Some of our batchmates in RNHEALS 4 joined a session in the congress where Rep. Paquiz was a speaker. According to them, the plan to absorb RNHEALS trainees as contractual nurses was discussed however, our party list didn't agree to some terms being laid out for the program therefore they decided to not continue it anymore.

As I understood it, "Ang Nars" simply wants to protect us from being abused by making sure that we can receive all the benefit a nurse should get but as someone who lost that wonderful opportunity to be absorbed as a contractual nurse who would earn 16,000 basic pay although without other benefits for 2 more years, I couldn't but lament over the lost opportunity.

I really hope that they are preparing a better alternative for all of us, or we'll get nowhere.

They prioritize first the applicants who have "backers" and then those who registered first.

are they going to accept previous rn heals trainees because i wanted to go back as a nurse again?

Hi everyone!

I'm part of RNheals batch 4 currently deployed in one of DOH tertiary hospital in QC. As per our HR, currently employed RNheals will be absorb by next year as contractuals or Nurse I. We already passed our requirements last September 2013 as it was a Hospital Order. October 2 was the deadline. I dont know if they are accepting new applicant because no post has been posted on the HR regarding the application for next yr. Also, half of the current RN heals will be eliminated and the rest will continue their employment at the hospital.

We dont know yet if the 16k compensation without benefit will implement for contractuals. We are still waiting for the black and white for this matter. Im ending up my contract as Rnheals Batch 4 this coming december. Right now the HR are processing all the application made on its internal hiring. Like last year, 1st week of January will be the announcement of those lucky nurses who will get the spot for employment.

Just a hint. If you are applying for a government hospital you should have a "BACKER" it will be your ticket in getting the post at a hospital. 90% of Rnheals in our hospital has a backer while the rest, 10% was just a lucky pick.

As per community based nurse, you should Go to DOH for further details. But right now no black and white yet for this, we also given a memo on where province do you want to be deployed if you choose to be in community setting.

Hi. Info about the newest program - Employment Program for Registered Nurses (EPRN), formerly known as RNHEALS - is already out. Please do check your regional or provincial bulletins or social media accounts. It has been stated that P18, 549.00 will be the monthly salary; possible places of assignment are hospitals, RHUs, birthing homes; and the deadline of submission is on Nov. 18, 2013 (well that's for the applicants within Quezon Province).
