hi. i would just like to ask if QC Gen. is accepting nurses for training or volunteer work. i'm from quezon city. i just finished my training in quirino memorial medical center last july, and i'm still waiting for their call because i enrolled in their special area training. i havent recieved a call from them yet. i would like to find a substitute hospital near my place, so that it'll be convenient for me. thanks and God bless to you. Good Vibes! =)

hello...

would just like to give an advice to those who want to submit their requirements at QCGH: be sure to be there the first day of accepting applicants. they usually only accept a certain amount of applicants bec. its hard for them to accommodate too many...

req. that i remember:

resume, xerox copy of: TOR, diploma, prc boardrating/certificate, prc license, certificates from seminars attended

they'll schedule you for an exam. and its pretty easy... :)

If you go hoping for a job as a staffnurse, forget it.. :)

the only way you'll ever get considered for a job is if you know someone at cityhall... and let that person handle your application. :(

Even the relatives of the staff are having a hard time getting in... its pathetic...

But if you really wanna LEARN... it'll be the best 6mos training you'll get... :)

can i ask about the exam? what do i need to study? thanks!

Thanks for the posting here at allnurses. I was able to get in to the last 2 slots this afternoon around 3pm. Also was able to talk to the head director, Maam Marilyn who was quite accommodating. Unfortunately though, as I learned earlier, today was the last day of submission of requirements as a lot have inquired on their training slated February, for the next batch. I also was able to ask Maam Marilyn about the training fee, which was 4,800(a far cry from the 2,400 last batch) since the training would be held on the new building already(I hope they do open the new building as it is more accomodating).

What is the exact coverage of the exams anyhow, I wasnt able to ask if I need to bring pencils(like the NLE exam) or is it an essay type of exam, for those who got in to QCGH, how were the exams?

@Gleek we're not on the same batch....my sched is on Dec9....good luck for all the applicants...hope we can make it!

Is it really true that the training would be 4.8k?? that's twice the fee from the last batch.!.:confused:

that's harsh.. I hope they will not take us for granted..

I'm schedule for Dec 3 at 1 pm. I forgot to ask what's the attire?

do you guys have any ideas?

can someone tell us what to bring on the exam date and what to wear? and share your info's about the scope of the exam....let's hope and pray that we will pass the exam...because i think it worth it...there are lots of feedback that you will learn a lot in their training. TIA!:nurse::up:

there is no specific attire for the exam:)

hello!my exam is scheduled on dec 9 for qcgh training..any hints to those who had taken exam before.thanks!
