This thread is based on my EXPERIENCE when I applied at Medical Center Taguig. I hope this can give you an idea if you are interested in applying. I also included directions how to get there. The staff is very accommodating.

I decided to apply at Medical Center Taguig (MCT) since a person from my hometown had advised me to try my luck there. I am from Taguig by the way. If you are wondering how to get there, i can only tell you the route/direction I took. From market-market, ride a jeepney (C5-ikot) near the ferris wheel. Just ask the driver to drop you at BCDA. Its just a short ride. You need to go up the bridge to get to the other side. When going down, take the left stairs. A few meters away you can see green tricycles who are lining up to pick up passengers. Ride one of those and just ask the driver to drop you at Medical Center Taguig. It's not finished yet. (usually the driver would drop you on the other side of the road so you should cross the street. (there's a traffic island in between but you can go up and well maybe jump. Just be careful though).

Go up to the main entrance. The HR is located at the left hallway. 2nd door from the left side. Their HR staff was accommodating, as for me I submitted my resume/CV, photocopies of TOR, board rating, diploma, ID's and certificates. The staff then said that I should come back next week and they are expecting me to be there. In addition, they required me to bring a long bond paper, file divider and a long white folder.

I went there at the said date with my requirements. (note: pls bring extra resume). I thought that I and the other applicants will just be having the initial exam but then to our surprise we were interviewed by the HR head and staff by group. The question varies depending whether you already have an experience/hosp. training. In the afternoon, we were given mental tests.

After that we were instructed to return the next morning for an interview with the chief nurse and examination (nursing related). The exam went first, there were multiple choice, solving and essay/discussions. If I remembered it correctly it was an 80 item or 100 item exam. ( I really cant say exactly because I didn't know how he graded the essay.) After the exam, we were interviewed one by one. There would be nursing concepts and personal questions. And then he will show you your grade. He give you some instructions or even offer you pre employment training for 3 mo. And then he will ask you to keep your line open.

After two days I was texted to attend the panel interview and told me to bring additional requirements. For the panel interview, we were interviewed by 2 physicians. The same thing we were asked about our interests, to which area do we think we would work well on and so on. After that the last instruction to us was to wait for a text pertaining to taking medical/lab examinations.

I took the exam July 2014. If I and the other applicants will be accepted. We will belong to their batch 2 of trainees. (Since batch 1 is already full). To those who will also be applying Good Luck and God bless :woot:

Thanks for that detailed information. Do they have training fee?

They don't have training fee. It's for free. Moreover, you get to have free lunch. (That's what they said) :)

thank you for that information. I can see the enthusiasm in your post. :) goodluck on your training!

Thanks! I'm still waiting for their text though. I heard that the institution will have their soft opening on December. :)

Thank you! I'm on my way to submit mine. :D

Thank you so much for the information!

K.Bee.R.B. how many months will the training be? thanks

I'm trying this as well

I've been contacting MCT about my application but they're not responding. I was lucky enough to pass both exam and interview. I believe I belong to batch 1 but they're not responding whenever I ask them about my stand.

Have you tried going there again? As for me, I'm still waiting for their text.
