O.K. Everyone, let's come up with the grossest tricks we can play at work (and still keep our jobs)!

I'll start with an oldie but always goodie....the apple juice in the urine container or the peanut butter on the VRE swab.

The nastiest trick ever pulled on me as a new nurse was this:

Two CNAs at the LTC where I was working as a new grad brought me an obviously used Depends one night and asked me to take a look at Mrs. Smith's loose stool. Just as I walked over to check it out, one of the aides suddenly took a plastic spoon out of her pocket, dipped it in the middle of the mess, and ate it!! :eek:

Needless to say, I was astounded, and more than a little grossed out. Actually, I just about blew my groceries right then and there. Then both girls burst out laughing and showed me what the brief really contained: about two cups of chocolate pudding. AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!

Nobody got me on April Fools day, but I got everyone I encountered including my doctor. :D
