We did a 6 hour assessment class geared toward new nursing staff. One of our staff Dr's did most of the teaching. He used a lot of case scenarios on power point. I'm not sure if this improved their assessment skills as much as their critical thinking skills. I haven't done one on blood gases lately- did one a couple of years ago and used power point and then some actual lab results. I'm working on jazzing up a Charge nurse workshop. I would like to get more hands on or team work exercises.

Is anyone familar with or have worked with the PBDS online program?? Thanks for the imput.
