Would I recommend Nursing?

Would I recommend nursing as a career? Always and forever a definite and resounding YES!!! I find nursing rewarding and wonderful and anyone that cares about people should take this post into consideration when looking for a career.

Yes, granted, it's hard sometimes. And yes, we are taken advantage of a lot. But people, c'mon! We didn't go into this profession to satisfy our own needs, didn't we go into this profession to satisfy the needs of others? To care for others? Ones who need us and cannot do for themselves anymore? For the sick and disabled?

I know that's why I did it, and although times may be rough, I will never regret my decision to become a nurse, and I will always be proud to say I am "a nurse".
