UNC New Nurse Residency Program (Dec 8)

Hello all!

I'm interested in starting a discussion for anyone who has applied to University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill new rn residency program. I applied at the beginning of January but have not heard anything expect that my application is "under consideration".

Just wanted to see if anyone else out there has applied and if so, where are they in this process?

I applied at the end of January, and when I called mid to late February, the recruiter said that since the posting has been open since December 8th, they are chronologically going through the applications and calling people for interviews if they meet the criteria that UNC is looking for. She said to be patient because many new grads applied in December so it will take a while to get through all of december and then all of january. Hope this helps!
