Second guessing if nursing is my calling in life..

I've only been a nurse for a year (LPN). I am currectly enrolled in a program for LPN-RN then eveually I wanted to become an ARNP. Out of no where I thought.. do I even want to do this? Sure the money is great but do I really enjoy nursing? Right now, I can say NO.

I work in LTC/Skilled nursing and I can't stand it- I need to because of the pay for at least another year before I can afford a pay cut to do something else. I eventually wanted to work with children but do I really want to as a nurse? I seriously have doubts right now and want to hide under a rock. I am very interested in other medical area (PT or OT or even SLP) and wonder if I'm missing my calling. Argh the stress! Anyone out there who is a PT, OT or SLP?
