Hi everyone, I came here to look for advice because I know there are more people here that have gone through what I'm going through. I am nineteen years old and want to become a nurse. I decided to become a CNA to be able to pay for college without much of my parents' help. I just became certified by the state of Florida in August

. I have been applying everywhere in Miami and have not been able to get a job due to my lack of experience. Just how am I suposed to get experience if nobody will hire me because I don't have any?
The truth is that everyone who comes to Miami from a foreign country usually becomes a CNA as soon as they get here, and because of this there is not really a CNA shortage in Miami, there are many experienced CNAs here. So what should I do? I don't want to give up on my dreams. I am making plans on starting on my pre reqs for an ASN program at MDC this spring, any tips for me on getting a job as an inexperienced CNA?
