Hi all!

I was applying for jobs today :typing and one company is requiring that I take a Kenexa "Prove It!" Skills assessment. I plan on taking it tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone had ever come across this before and if they just ask general nursing skill questions or are the questions more specific to the job that you applied for? This is a new one for me! Thanks in advance!:wink2:

Just thought that I would update! I took the assessment today. It was a 79 multiple choice test. It mostly asked questions about what would best describe you, how you work, how others describe you....that sort of thing. It didn't actually ask anything about nursing skills. Stress, time-management, team work, leadership...those were some of the topics covered.

Not true or maybe test has changed. Just took RN assessment. It is straight out of NCLEX. 40 questions all clinical. Questions on obstetrics; maternal/newborn, lab values, one question on IV therapy complication; pulmonary edema; specimen collection; lymphoma; dietary questions; post op care questions; one drug calculation; 3-5 diabetes questions; Several dietary questions...etc. Ridiculous test considering I will not be working in a hospital or clinic.
