just getting started

Hi everyone! I am currently a working 30-year-old and am considering a career change. I am looking into going to nursing school for a BSN and was wondering if any of you have any advise for me. I am in the San Diego area and it seems like there are plenty of programs, some of which are with the big universities and others are "Univ of Phoenix-type" programs. Does it make a difference to have your degree from a big reputable school? Or is it a better investment to go through one of the less-expensive programs? Any input would help. Thanks!!
Vicky

Look for NLN accreditation when looking for a school.

I went to a vocational technical school for my ADN and later to a small Christian college for my BSN. I've done very well in life so far with those degrees.
