Drug Testing Questions!!!

Hi! I will be going under drug screen for a hospital job next week. My question is what type of drugs are they screening for? Do I need to disclose all of what I had taken in the past as well as PRN? I have never had to do this drug screen in any of my previous jobs but now I do. Will Viread (Not taken for HIV, taken for a different diagnosis) I have taken for nearly a year and stop a month ago show in my urine? How about taken Advil/Tylenol occasionally for headache? I have chronic headaches so I normally take Advil, Acetaminophen, or Tylenol whichever available. Never taken any stronger than these.

What? Are you serious that Ibuprofen could cause a false positive for THC? That is absurd. I take Advil sometimes for headaches. I just had my urine and blood drawn for drug screening. Oh, blood drawn for alcohol I was not aware of until I received and filled out paperwork. Anyway, they didn't ask me if I had taken anything or lists all meds taking/taken at all. I peed in the cup and blood was drawn. Now waiting to hear back from them. By the way, I took Advil yesterday morning so it is 24hrs since.

Yes, it's rare but can happen, and follow-up testing usually confirms innocence. So don't spazz, the odds are highly in your favor that you won't test positive for anything and you will be fine :)
